Slow mornings, kind people, and spaces that feel like home
Kind is a yoga shala, café, and homestay in Varkala, India.
A quiet place to land, move, and meet others.
At Kind, we offer daily yoga classes, simple food and drinks, and space to slow down. The atmosphere is open, relaxed, and intentional. We care about presence, honesty, and creating something real — not perfect.
Whether you join us for a class, a juice under the trees, or come back each season — you’re welcome here.
Though we may look a little far from the cliff on the map, it's just a 15-minute walk—and that gentle distance brings you into a quieter, more peaceful side of Varkala. Surrounded by palm trees and the rhythm of local life, Kind sits in the calm, where the buzz of the seaside fades and the breeze moves through the palms.

🌝 Pawan Ji
Pawan began his yoga journey over 10 years ago in Rishikesh, India. What started as a personal practice during his studies in 2011 became a lifelong path of transformation.
After completing his engineering degree, his devotion to yoga led him to pursue a Master’s in Yoga in 2018. Since then, he has wholeheartedly dedicated his life to this ancient practice.
He began teaching in 2019, leading teacher training programs, group sessions, and online classes during the lockdown.
Pawan Ji’s classes are guided by deep compassion and a profound understanding of anatomy, allowing students to safely and gracefully open their bodies for more advanced asanas. His teaching creates a nurturing space for growth and connection, both on and off the mat.

Nathalie
Nathalie fell in love with yoga for its endless ability to nourish the body, mind, and soul. She primarily teaches Vinyasa yoga, with a strong emphasis on guiding students through their asana practice with mindful attention to the breath. Each of her classes is rooted in kindness and compassion, always encouraging self-love and acceptance.
Facilitating yoga for people of all ages and experience levels brings Nathalie immense joy. Her journey with yoga began after an accident 10 years ago, using the practice as a path to healing. When life later presented unexpected challenges, yoga became a vital part of her personal growth and transformation.
Inspired by her deepening love for the practice, Nathalie traveled to India—studying in Rishikesh, Dharamsala, Mumbai, and Goa—to train as a yoga teacher. Her time in India continues to shape her teaching and her ongoing journey of learning and growth.
